Students and teachers of Völkermarkt Grammar School take part in an EU Socrates /Comenius Project. Within this project, which will last three years at most and where seven schools from different European Countries (Norway, Finland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Austria) will cooperate, groups of students assisted by their teachers will deal with the topic: Local traditions and regional cooking From Oct. 24 to Oct. 29, 2000 there was the first teachers’ meeting in Kozani/Greece, where the goals were set and further procedures were discussed and settled. The project will be coordinated by Fani Ftaka and Soula Samara, teachers at the 3rd Liceum of Kozani. Many thanks to both of them and to all the other colleagues and friends in Kozani for the friendly and generous reception and our being looked after so well. |
